Introducing our new parakeet, Dragon. He's named for Dragon, Hound of Honor, a book that I recently read to Clay. He is a sweet little dear .
Grandpa called to say that lambs were here! They usually don't come till April, so we were all surprised.
It turns out that this little lamb's mom wouldn't accept it and allow it to nurse, so we brought it home to feed from a bottle. More pictures to come of that.
This is mrs washington (our lamb) getting butted away by her mother. One of her siblings is in front of them. She now resides with our chickens. There just are not many things in the world cuter than a newborn lamb! The movie is of Danny and I first meeting mrs. washington.
