I messed up with some of the pictures from the last post, I meant to get these on too, but didn't successfully upload them. Anyway, here are some more photos from the summer. The above photo is Clay just below Gneiss Lake.
Dave, very proud of his trout.
This is the boys' bones museum at Bear Lake. They spent a lot of time roaming the sage brush fields around our rental house finding many bones.
They also spent a lot of time excavating this series of hot tubs at the beach. One of them ended up really quite deep.

We spent a weekend at Boulder Mountain.
We hiked to the red rock ranger station and the boys got to take turns riding with Grandpa on Chief.
This is a hummingbird nest we found. It was tiny, and blended perfectly with the branch it was on.
We caught 2 salamanders in the mountains and attempted to transplant them into our friends' pond, but they were never seen again.
