This was in October. We wanted to take the boys on a real hike and see how they'd do. They carried their own packs, and did a fabulous job. We were very proud. Doxie was a good hiker too, and jumped a blue grouse. We're guessing they went between 3 and 4 miles round trip. Beautiful day. Beautiful place.
