We came right past hovenweep, so we stopped. It's definitely not the most popular park, but it was a nice little loop hike around a concentrated area of ruins. These ruins were so different from mesa verde being out in the open, yet much the same in construction. Same people I guess built them.
There seems to be a little spring at the base of square tower. There were lots of bunnies hopping around after each other down there. It was a nice place to just sit for a minute and enjoy watching whatever came by. Marmots, cottontails, ravens and lizards came out.
